Posner nominated for DRL; Rapp for War Crimes Ambassador

As has been expected, the White House announced President Obama's intent to nominate Mike Posner as Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor.  Mike is currently the President of Human Rights First, a Connect U.S. Fund grantee.

Also of interest for human rights advocates: Stephen Rapp, currently chief prosecutor of the Special Court for Sierra Leone, has been named Ambassador-at-Large for War Crimes Issues.
