Joanna Hecht is the Program Assistant for the Connect U.S. Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, she held an internship with the Future of Peace Operations program at the Henry L. Stimson Center. Joanna holds a bachelor's degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, where she majored in Political Science. She was awarded honors in her major for her senior thesis: "Continuity and Change: Exploring a Path Dependent Approach to Post-Communist Media Transitions."
